Our town has a fairly balanced mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial development. Commercial activities are centered along Anderson and Palisade Avenues and consist of a mixture of retail shops and services, and commercial and professional offices. We also have small and mid-sized industries which provide employment for local residents and those of the surrounding area. All are easily accessible by foot or car from the residential areas and by public transportation from neighboring towns and New York City.
