FRANK BIASCO

To say my brother Frank Biasco was the true heart and soul of Cliffside Park is indeed a gross understatement. There wasn't anyone in Cliffside from 2 to 92 who Frank didn't regard as family. Beloved by young and old alike, Frank was a dynamic force that truly set Cliffside Park apart from any other town. Frank WAS Cliffside Park. His heart and soul belonged to the children of the town, and his heart embraced them as though they were his own. The true "home town feel" of Cliffside evaporated like morning mist when Frank Biasco was called to Heaven by Our Lord, where I am sure Frank is in charge of Heaven's Recreation Dept., once again surrounded by happy, laughing children. My happiest memories of Frank go back 40 years, when I was growing up in our hometown Union City. Even then, Frank had a unique gift for making a child feel unique and loved. I could fill a book relating all the excursions, picnics, parties, and many other family occasions so many years ago that Frank made so memorable and so special. Frank was my big brother, my best friend, and my hero. I lost a large part of my heart when Frank left us all too suddenly. But Frank's legacy will live on, not only in his beautiful wife Maria and his outstanding children and grandchildren, but in the hearts, souls, and memories of all those who knew him....and loved him. Our great loss is certainly Heaven's great gain.
