While I agree modern times are fraught with knee-jerk reactions, especially those which window dress and line the pockets of consultants and contractors, I don't think an experiment in reducing young adult mortalities qualifies as a knee-jerk.
I'm willing to give this a chance, as I hope these programs make a demonstrable statistical impact on teenage deaths. Let's see where this goes. If it's positive, then why not? I'm sure NJSP is looking intently on these programs and comparing this year's accident and fatality figures to those of previous years.
Mrs. E. and I applaud Dr. and Mrs. Verea on championing this initiative in CP and offer our sincerest condolences on this sad anniversary.
