To P.W. Dacko:
I used to work at the Amusement Park while in high school from '59-'61, first at the "Guess Your Weight" attraction and then at the McCaskill's Freak Show. In response to your question regarding Joe's restaurant, it was actually Joe's Elbow Room and is now at the sight of Villa Amalfi on the corner of Palisade Ave. and Marion Avenue. Joe's Elbow Room is quite infamous. A picture of a Mafia "hit" was shown in movies like the Godfather, I believe, with a couple of police officers bending over a slain Mafia guy at the bar of Joe's.
