[Schools/Education] GOOD NEWS

Test scores are up!
Cliffside Park High School test scores are up for the 2005 school year.
High School Proficiency Assessment results
1. Language Arts= up in all categories.
2. Mathematics= up in all categories. The percent that scored "Advanced" more than doubled from 10% to 22.6%.
3. Advanced Placement Participation= Up a full percentage point from 10.9% to 11.9%.
4. SAT scores= up.
The bad news.........while the High School scores improved in almost all categories, they still fall below the state average. Nevertheless, good news is good news.
