[Politics/Elections] It's an Election Year!!!

Well, it is finally 2007: which means that Gerry is up for re-election in 10 months from now. How about we elect someone new? Now, doesn't that sound like a radical idea? LOL. Seriously, don't you think that the town could use a new mayor after 45+ years of the same one?
That is why I would like to see Hot East run. Of course, everybody will have to forget about the Democratic party and vote Republican. Come on Hot East, run for mayor!!!!
P.S. Is it a tradition in Cliffside Park to close down the Oxen Hill when there is a mayoral election? I hope not since that road is my only escape route from town.
