[In the News] Foster Care Month *LINK*

As many people might already know, May is National Foster Care Month. Foster Care agencies nation wide are trying to spread awareness about the thousands of children currently in our foster care systems. These children are in need of temporary homes or permanent homes through adoption.
Right now is the time for you to make a difference in your community. If you are interested in finding out how you can help call our hotlines at 1-877-NJ FOSTER, 1-800-99 ADOPT, or visit our websites at, www.NJFOSTER.ORG, www.NJADOPT.ORG, and http://www.nj.gov/njfosteradopt
If you are interested in having one of our representatives come to your home, school, or organization to do a free presentation on foster care and adoption, please call the Local DYFS office at 201-996-8900. We are partners in the community and we want to raise awareness about the great need for foster and adoptive parents.
Together we can change a child's life, forever.
