Dear JReggie,
I'm sorry if you were upset by my post. I concur that I do not personally know the men in question, which could impact my instincts about the issue. That said (assuming that you are not Sue), I was pretty straight shooting in my response to the woman who posted a diatribe against me on the bulletin board. I am not trying to make anyone's life bad but I was sufficiently horrified by the events to feel it necessary to register my disgust in a public forum. I also apologize if you feel that I've dredged up something that should have passed already. I am new to the area and obtained my information from the VERY recent articles about the crime in the Bergen Record and the Bergen News. If you have sincere arguments that would counter the implication of guilt suggested by the evidence, I encourage you to post your thoughts -- in an intelligent and polite tone and manner -- in response on the bulletin board. Debate is good! The beauty of America is, in part, that we all can have a voice now and then. Thanks for writing.
