[Quality of Life] Garbage Pick-Up

Why does the garbage have to be picked up on Saturday mornings at 6:30 am when we all are sleeping? I called the dept. of public works and was told that "the guys want to go home early on Saturdays, so they choose to start their shift at 5:30 am". Does this bother anyone else? We have 1 day off per week, Saturdays, and every Saturday around 6:30 am we are woken up by the horrible sound of trash. How lovely. Is there anyone else out there who is is upset enough about this to stand before our Council (I'll join) to fight to have this changed?
