The Briarcliff Co-op

Will be moving to Cliffside Park/Edgewater shortly and am considering purchasing a co-op at The Briarcliff on Gorge Road. Two questions: What can you tell me about the building itself, the history of the building and the neighborhood in which it's located? -and- There is a site on River Road, just beneath and slightly north of the building next to the storage place and across the road from Barnes and Noble. This site appears to be a repository for building debris. While I understand that this location is in Edgewater, not Cliffside Park, my concern is that it could also be a potential building site and that a building placed here would ruin the view of the river from The Briarcliff. Thanks for any info you can provide. An email reply would be great if you can help!!
