Our town is too busy wasting money on new trucks and other useless things to be bothered with spending a cent on education. It baffles me that kids are graduating who still cannot read. Makes you wonder why. I know when I was in school there we did not have to pay any "class dues". Seems to be another money making scam created by the school and the board, just like the one that involes lost books. If you lose a book, and pay for it, but then you find the book and hand it in, guess what, your still out of $80.00 for that book....even though the book is probably from the 1800's... Im amazed that these types of things are still going on at C.P.H.S. If you want to make a difference there, then the students, AS WELL AS THE PARENTS HAVE to attend the board meetings because they fear the parents, and when the parents get "out of line" the school will most likely change it's actions. So everyone needs to get involved with these meetings.
