Looks like the town’s redevelopment of Anderson Avenue is off & running.
According to yesterdays "RECORD" the town received $300,000 earlier in the week for new sidewalks & streetlights from the state DOT.

STAFF WRITERCLIFFSIDE PARK - Anderson Avenue, the borough's main business strip, is in line for a $300,000 spruce-up thanks to a state Department of Transportation grant for streetscape beautification projects.
The money will be spent on new sidewalks and curbs that are bordered with brick pavers, as well as rustic acorn-type lighting fixtures.
The improvement is intended to complement Cliffside Park's planned redevelopment of a 1˝-block stretch of Anderson Avenue bounded by Lawton and Grant avenues.
State Sen. Joseph Coniglio, D-Paramus, came to Borough Hall on Tuesday to present a blown-up copy of the $300,000 check to Mayor Gerald Calabrese and Councilwoman Donna Spoto.
