I live within 20 feet of Border Blues. It is interesting to note the following:
1- Who gave a variance to change the old chinese restaurant to a night club? Are'nt the owners of Border Blues supposed to inform adjacent property owners about their intent?
2-BB added a wall on the second floor, again No hearing? No notification of neighbors?
3- BB bought an adjacent empty property on Gorge Road, which was designated as residential property and converted it to commerical parking. BB cut trees and torn up geen the grass to make room for ugly apshalt pavings. A blatent violation of residential zoning rules!
4-Also BB built 3 huge vent fans on the second floor. the noise eminating from these fans can be heard from the adjacent building even when the windows are down. No shed covering the fans? no sound damper? no nothing!
How can they get away which such blatent violations. Where are the building inspectors? The board members?
I am just wondering may be buying the propperty from the mayor's son can smooth things up with the Cliffside Park authorities. If my suspicions are true, which i hope they are not, then it is realy a shame.
I would like to hear from the responsible official channels.
