Martha, all I can say is if you need to commute to midtown, Cliffside Park is the worst place to live. There is a ferry, but it's $5.00 each way and $5.00 to park. The bus is much more reasonable, $2.55 each way, but can take as long as an hour and a half, 2 hours. NJ Transit refuses to consider alternate routes, such as Boulevard East in order to ease up some of the congestion.
