I get a kick out of people that buy a house near an airport, at a reduced price, and then complain about the noise from the airport.
Before I get to the topic at hand, I think Carole had better check her ID before she posts something under one name and then signs another. The New Jersey DMV can provide you with a photo license if you still have a problem figuring out just who you are.
All these posts about Border Blues seem to be nothing more than thinly veiled political attacks aimed at the current administration in Cliffside Park. One needn't look any further than Dave B's latest effort to see that I'm right. The opposition party in Cliffside Park can't seem to muster any support by crying about "dirty streets", so they take the low road and make baseless accusations regarding a new business in town.
I'm not a drinker, nor do I like jazz, so I will probably never visit the establishment in question. However, they do have a right to conduct their business as long as they do it legally. Furthermore, to insuate that there is something amiss just because the owners bought the place from Calabrese Realty, the Mayor's son, would lead one to think that whoever buys a property from Calabrese Realty is up to no good. That borders on libel.
If you have a problem with Border Blues, take it up with them. If that fails, air your complaint in the proper public forum, the Borough Council Meeting. If all you are trying to do is cast aspersions against the Calabrese administration, or the Cliffside Park Police Department, get a life. By the way, Number 6 school is slightly more than 500 feet away from both Rudy's and Border Blues.
