It's typical of people who interact with the police at some unpleasant time and receive a summons for something that they did take the position that the "cops are mean." Don't be stupid! That summons you received should be a wake up call. It is a warning that the laws are to be obeyed. They are there to insure order in our society.
Perhaps you just have a problem with authority! That's ok. Just remember the next time you are in fear or in danger, the guys in the blue suits will come. They will run into the midst of trouble to save your ungrateful butt. Perhaps if the situation arises and some other lawless hater of police has broken into your home you should call the ice cream man. They always smile! Jerk!
