In respose to cpfd firefighter I found the following in your comments. The fact that you received a monetary gift from a "generous person"indicates that you are not aware of laws concerning public officials receiving gifts. I guess that this donation will enable the donor to have special treatment when it comes to the fire department. In other words he bought in. Maybe he or she owns a building or business in town that requires "looking the other way". That would not be the first time. Second the borough will pick up the bill for insurance and maintenance on the NFPA not approved truck but what are you going to do with the $500,000 truck that will not fit in most of the streets. You won't give the taxpayers a rebate on this one will you chief? Third , the ambulance is not an animal so it does not BEAR a name, it bares a logo. And I believe that in Cliffside Park with a significant number of residential buildings that house more than one hundred people under one roof that its fire department should be sufficient in size to meet every NFPA and Division of Fire Safety need without an "inter agreement which is a mis-spelling for an interlocal agreement. I do not believe that textbooks were ever significant in the writers life. There is reason to be concerned!
