Watch Out Cliffside Park!

Seems that some people feel that Adolphus Avenue just has to be developed into something other than the nice residential area that it is!
In today's Record, we find out that variances are being sought for yet ANOTHER high rise development.
"Neighbors of a prized cliff-top tract are bracing for their fourth zoning battle in seven years as plans were unveiled for the most ambitious project to date - a twin-towered, 14-story luxury condominium overlooking the Hudson River."
"In a joint venture, Pinnacle Communities LLC of Millburn and Gold Coast Estates LLC, a Cliffside Park group, are seeking use, height and other variances for the 143-unit complex. It would be built on a rocky 3.3-acre site on Adolphus Avenue and Gorge Road."
"Four homes and a 17-unit garden apartment building would be torn down to make way for the 177-foot towers. The area is zoned for multifamily dwellings of up to four stories, or 45 feet in height."
Greed again raises it's ugly head in Cliffside Park. There isn't a day in this town when yet another tree is cut down to make way for another monster duplex. Cliffside Park is dissappearing right before our very eyes, being replaced by instant urban blight.
The "renovation" of Anderson Avenue is a complete joke! Why did they stop after completing just half of the west side of the Avenue between Lafayette and Grant? What about the rest of Anderson Avenue? Isn't that a part of Cliffside Park? Or are the plans for "Calabreses Folly" still in the works?
It seems the only character that Cliffside Park has left is the one that sits in the Mayor's chair!
When will enough be enough?
P.S. I wonder who "Gold Coast Estates, LLC" really is?
