Paladino rides again...Part 2

On Monday of this week I posted a message relating a series of events that had been told to me by a parent. I was incensed that Mr. Paladino would have the reaction he reportedly did when faced with the situation as related.
I have since found out that the series of events did NOT happen as they were related. The TRUE story was reported to me at 2 PM this afternoon (Thursday).
First of all, there is no way I would ever impugn the reputation of Mrs. Venezia. She is a fine teacher and has the well being of her students at heart, as do most of the teachers in Cliffside Park. I know she would never expose those children in her charge to a situation as reported. I have learned that she went out of her way to insure that the ferry buses would take the kids to Lincoln Center and pick them up at the end of the show.
My problem was NOT with Mrs. Venezia or any of the chaperones on the trip. My problem was, and still is with Mr. Paladino. His "absolutely not" comment was in response to a question as to whether or not the school buses could be used to pick the kids up if needed.
I would like to COMMEND Mrs. Venezia, the chaperones and the kids for handling the situation in the intelligent manner in which THEY did.
