Verizon phone service.

I don't usually complain about things, but my experiences with Verizon are driving me insane!!!! I have to vent.... It all started when I decided to add another phone line for my teenage daughter so the rest of the family could use the phone again. I called and set up an install date which was three weeks away. I didn't mind because it was to be a second line. On the day of the install I took the morning off work to be there to meet the service person during time range I was given. Nobody showed up. I called customer service, waited forever on hold, and finally was told that the serviceperson is really busy today and can't make it. At this point I am mad, but I reschedule for a date that is two and a half weeks away. In the meantime, I get my Verizon phone bill and on it is a charge for the install of a new line! When I called to get the charge taken off, the customer service representative told me that there is no record of the missed install date or my pending install date. How do these type of things happen in a company as large as Verizon? I am really disappointed in Verizon for treating me like my business is not valued.
