Sad "Welcome" to CP

We recently purchased a home in CP. I mean RECENTLY, and I would like to be excited..but..having read some of the postings here I'm starting to feel like our family may have just made a HUGE oversight. Please tell me there good things about CP...somebody...anybody...I'll take what I can get.
Almost everything significant to us seems to be an issue, the schools (we have an infant), the neighborhoods, the parking (we have lots of friends & family that will visit) the shops (we like to go out to eat at least once a week)etc..etc..I haven't even settled down and unpacked boxes and I'm feeling like we may need to move shortly after we are done :-/. Again, please tell me there are good things about CP...somebody...anybody...I'll take what I can get.
