Frank Biasco - "Mr. Cliffside Park"

The people of Cliffside Park suffered a great loss today with the passing of Councilman Frank Biasco.

Frank, through his work as Borough Councilman and Director of Recreation, touched the lives of everyone in Cliffside Park. More than that, Frank was a gentle man. He was there for anyone who needed him and gave of himself freely, without question. When asked for a favor, the first word out of Frank's mouth was always "yes".
Frank was the consummate politician, serving on the Borough Council longer than any other member, but his life transcended politics. He did for people without regard for their politics.
His work with the children of our town spanned two generations and will never be equaled. There was never a time that Frank wasn't surrounded by children. Whether his own children, his grandchildren or participants in one of the countless programs he initiated in the Recreation Department... there were always the children.
Frank Biasco was the personification of what Cliffside Park is all about, and he will be sorely missed.
