[Gen. Discussion] Venti, et al vs. Cliffside Park Board of Ed., et a

Congratulations to Mr. Venti, Ms. Morano and Ms. Kantor on their victory over the Cliffside Park Board of Ed. Hopefully these fine teachers will be able to get back to doing what they do best. The clear winners in this whole affair are the students who will once again have the benefit of the quality of education they deserve.
Now, why in the world do some teachers in Cliffside Park have to pay for the parking of their cars when they come to work? It's bad enough that these dedicated professionals dig into their own pockets to buy materials that are used in the classroom, for the benefit of our children. Must they be also be forced to pay for the priviledge of coming to work?
There's plenty of space along the fence by the field. Why are the teachers not allowed to park there? Why is it that parking IS allowed in that area, but only after school when it really doesn't matter. Is this another harrassing tactic by the Board of Ed?
