Well as I mentioned in a previous post, we JUST moved to CP. I mean we J U S T moved in and what do we receive as a WELCOME.....we find ourselves with water in our basement:-( To make a long and wet wet story short...we are desperately seeking someone who can help us resolve this problem. We have had various companies give us quotes on "french drains" and sump pumps but we are not entirely comfortable with the opening that is left by a "french drain", we also met w/ someone that gave us a real "salesman" style $$$$ estimate on a different remedy....we know we need a sump pump - again we are just not crazy about the opening left by a french drain..trying to keep this short & sweet.
