You can't fix apathy.
Today's is a culture of procrastination and hoping things go away, rather than take on the challenge of early follow-through. I'd bet that there will be many students pounding on the door around deadline time when things have reached critical mass. That's a shame because having a baccalaureate today is about the same as being a high school graduate in my youth. Trade jobs where a HS diploma will guarantee an entry into a journeyman career track are declining. I'm seeing an advanced degree as a prerequisite to advancement in many jobs now, where before, they were looking for BA or BS graduates.
What's the percentage of college-bound students in CPHS these days?
