Maybe it has something to do with the fact that many of the newly hired teachers at the high school are "alternate route" and do not have a major in the area that they are teaching. Why doesn't Paladino hire certified subject matter teachers? I understand that a fifth grade teacher is teaching English and that a philosophy major is teaching social studies. Who's teaching math?
