On June 18 the volunteer fire department will be having a wetdown for their new half a million dollar telesquirt. What you don't know is that after the taxpayers forked over this money the volunteer firemen will host the wetdown of distruction. The wetdown lets surronding fire departments come and pour and dump water all over the brand new truck. The minimum water flow will be 175 gallons per minute per hoseline. When they open up deck guns on top of the truck thats 500 gallons of water per minute. There are electronical components on the exterior of the truck that will breakdown etc. A cute trick during a wetdown is that one member will sneak around and roll down a window so that the interior cab both front and rear are flooded. Then there is the old foam trick outdated caustic foam is applied courtesy of the visiting firefighters and it will destroy the exterior paint finish. These hard working volunteers will then need to rehab themselves like the Division of Fire Safety requires, and guess what form of liquid refreshment is provided ATRUCKLOAD OF BEER! SO COME OUT TO SEE YOUR HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS AT WORK If enough concerned residents let their voice be heard this won't happen. Its our money. Stop this insanity.
