[ Schools/Education ] Sympathy to the Taxpayers

It has come to my attention that the current superintendent of schools had his contract renewed by an additional three years giving him the next four years to be at the helm of our schools. I would just like to offer my heartfelt sympathy to the other taxpayers, the parents, the teachers as well as all of the children who attend our public schools. With leadership such as this it comes as no suprise to find that many of our top students opt out of the educational system in Cliffside Park in favor of the county Academies as well as private high school. How the Board of Education could make such a mistake is amazing but then Michael Jackson was declared innocent, Robert Blake didn't do it, and of course OJ didn't fit the glove. I can assume that the same mentality that found the the above people innocent would also vote to renew the superintendent's contract knowing the facts over the last three years. I am not senile enough to believe that everyone will lose from the renewal of this contract. I know that the owners of the [NON-PARTICIPATING ADVERTISER] and [NON-PARTICIPATING ADVERTISER] are happy that thousands of dollars of taxpayer money will continue to pour into their establishments over the next few years. If I had the amount of money spent by the superintendent in these two places over his time in charge I would not have to work a part time job to supplement my Social Security but could stay home with my wife and play with my grandchildren.
