The facts are that when the same grades are in the same building, much more can be done collectively by all the teachers, than when a teacher, no matter what the grade, is alone or can only share resources with one other teacher from the same grade.
If that weren't true, every school would simply go from Pre - K to grade 12. Convenient for parents, but not educationally sound.
