I knew Rebeka for a long time, and it's sad that we lost contact when I left to college. She was a sweet girl. I remember one day we were walking down the street and this lady gave us a puppy. Rebeka asked her mom if she could keep it and she said "no" so we left the puppy in my house and we would play with it every day. We would go downstairs to the studio of "Magic Juan" and we used to always play her favorite song by "FLIA" (gata en la lluvia) and jump around in my room. Even though I was 4 years older then Rebeka I always tried my best to teach her good things and keep her out of the streets. Her mom used to pick her up every day at my house, and she even became close to my mom. After I left to college I never saw her again, and I would think of her from time to time. But since I had lost my cell phone I never got the chance to stay in touch with her. Today as I was on the bus I saw one of her posters and I asked the bus driver "why do they have her pictures every where?" I figured she had won a pageant or something since she looked so beautiful. He told me she had been killed in a car crash and I felt deep pain in my heart. I feel bad because I didnt get to find out till today and its gonna be almost two months since the tragedy. I want to send my deepest condolensences to her family. Rebeka was a good and smart girl! Sometimes "hardheaded" but a good girl!! Love You Rebeka!
