We sold our home in CP because we grew unhappy with the school system. We are now in a district that puts more than $8,000 into each student. We can't believe the services that are available. My children can't believe that their guidance counselors know their names already and have called them down to meet with them (one is a freshman and one a sophomore). We have also been invited in, as parents, to meet with the guidance counselor. The guidance counselor knows so much about curriculum, options for various colleges and seems very very sincere. My children love their guidance counselor. My son said that the GC always makes time to talk to him. My daughter said the same. We are thrilled to be in our new school system. We are sad to leave our friends, family and the life we once knew, behind. Oh well. The kids have to come first.
