Let me ask you this JR: How come my friend and his parents; who are immigrants from Russia; SPEAK, READ, AND WRITE English PERFECTLY?
They all have accents, but NOT strong enough where you can't understand them. His grandmother (a woman in her mid 80's), may not speak the best English, but speaks enough where, if I call his house and he's not home, can tell me where he is and take a message.
Also, remember, it's easier to learn English from Spanish than it is from Russian (not to mention the different alphabets).
It's just ANOTHER example of why there is NO EXCUSE not to READ, WRITE, AND SPEAK ENGLISH. It's just pure LAZINESS - and I'm not afraid to call it what it is.
