Hey Cpt Libertae:
Thank God there are immigrants out there like you with (I take it you are because you said you "became a citizen") with SOMEWHAT RESPECT for your new homeland. Mr. or Mrs. JR accuses me of bias because I think it wouldn't kill immigrants to learn English. It's called "I'm moving to America, therefore, I SHOULD learn English." At least YOU have respect for your new homeland and speak ENGLISH.
Even Governor Schwarzenegger (a Republican who's even TOO LIBERAL for me) has zero tolerance with these illegal immigrants and speaks ENGLISH. Remember five years ago with Elian Gonzales? It was the first time Janet Reno and the Clinton Administration actually did something right.
It's funny you mentioned France. I have NO RESPECT for that country (considering all we've done for them and they're cowards when it comes to cooperating with President Bush and the war in Iraq); but I'll say this: Go there and speak Spanish (or any other language but French) and they'll treat you like the scum of the Earth, and rightfully so. You're in THEIR COUNTRY - you speak THEIR LANGUAGE.
Thank you again for respecting your new homeland and I welcome you with open arms. It because of immigrants like YOU that made this country the greatest country in the world. God bless you. Oops, did I offend any Liberals/Democrats becuase I said "God"?
