[Gen. Discussion] Get The Word Out

Even though many people in here don't always agree with one another, many of the messages on this site do a very good job of addressing our town's problems and even offer possible solutions. The problem is that nobody here has any power to make any changes. Unless someone in here was elected to a political office or is a big time real estate developer, we can't accomplish anything by just complaining and attacking one another. Going to community meetings won't make a difference and we can't elect a new mayor since he always runs un-opposed and has endless financial resources.
Whenever I want to see what life is like outside of Cliffside Park, I sometimes visit the Edgewater and Fort Lee Online websites and read some of the postings in their message boards. I noticed that both of these sites are visited by politicians. Council-woman Neda Rose is a big contributor to the Edgewater Online message board.
I think we should try to get someone with political power in CP to visit this site and read some of the postings. This will be a more effective tool in improving our town than just complaining and bullying those who we don't agree with. Maybe someone in here can even e-mail some of the postings in here to someone who has the power to make changes.
This is the 21st century and our elected officials should make use of the internet and this message board.
