Frank Biasco was a Councilman in Cliffside Park for thirty years. He created programs for both seiniors and our young. He brought cakes to the seinior citizens, food to the sick, smiles to everyones face including my own. Frank started all programs including basketball, football, wrestling, seinior bus trips, hockey, baseball, softball, summer camp, trips, summer picnics, rides and music for all ages, support for high school students, Grants for West Grantwood playground (#6 School Field),trips to N.Y.C., and other cultural art events, town wide art shows, Town parades for holidays and Centennial events, raised money for winning teams to travel to other States, started the first Pre-School ever for Moms that couldn't afford to send them to regular pre school, Holiday Spectaculars with Santa all the way to Beauty and the Beast I know I was always volunteered to put an outfit on because it was impossible to ever say know to Frank when he asked. He was always at everyones service 24 hrs. a day his home never was silent he always had a bell ringing or a phone ringing and he would never let it go unanswered. He ran recreation during the day as he worked the midnight shift for pse&g. Let it be known that Frank ran this all for no salary other than his council seat. I also know that he was the most well loved man in the Town Hands Down. We lost the greatest person to ever reide in Cliffside Park, this is just some of the great things he has done for the town, I hope it helps!
