[In the News] Thank you Korea!

The following article was buried on page 7 of the New York Post today and, to my knowledge, didn’t appear in any other newspapers....
“South Korea’s National Red Cross has extended a hand of support from half-way around the world, raising more than $19.4 million to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina.”
“Of that amount, $13.6 million will go to areas that suffered the full brunt of the monster storm.”
“In addition, the Korean government has delivered $5 million in cash donations and funds to help transport and distribute donated goods, which include food, clothes, blankets, diapers and other essentials.”
“Korean government officials said the aid is a thank you to the United States for all the help it has given Seoul over the decades.”
This is one American that will be having a different perception of Korean immigrants to our country in the future. Thank you Korea!
