[Gen. Discussion] Will the madness ever end?

Not likely, as I thought it was my turn. (Warning: my focus may include neighboring areas surrounding, but not necessarily in CP)
1. In the 60's every week or so, a man used to walk through the streets of the south end with a contraption on his back ringing a bell. What did he do?
2. A disco diva lives in one of our highrise buildings. To protect her privacy, I won't ask who or where - but what was her hit song that still gets airplay today?
3. The old bus station at Nungessers had tons of them, along with their residue. Hizzoner Ed Koch didn't like these things at all. What were they?
4. What ever became of the old bus station at Nungessers? The place that went there, what was their claim to fame?
5. If you wanted to take a ride from Nungessers to Two Guys, what bus would you take? What color was it?
6. What was Patsy's on Bergen Blvd. before it became Patsy's? What was it famous for? What branch of the service was the owner in?
7. What used to happen every couple of years at the Orange and Black bus garage? You took the Orange and Black bus if you wanted to go where?
8. "Filled out an application, went through investigation - now you're a _____________!"
9. There used to be a church on Manhattan Place. What denomination was it?
10. We used to have a feast in our community. It was nice to stroll through the street, get sausage and peppers sandwiches, or zeppoles. In its end days, it became fairly troublesome and inconvenient for traffic. Over the years, it was on Bergen Blvd and Anderson Avenue in Fairview, as well as in JJ Braddock Park. Where was it when it was in Cliffside Park?
Multipart Bonus:
Who was the Saint the feast honored?
What did this Saint do to have a bunch of people honor him?
Name the society who organized the feast? Where was their office?
What did they call the thing that the Saint was on and danced?
Why was it so special?
The feast is no longer celebrated here. Name a place in the U.S. where the tradition goes on strong every year.
